Hi again,
Well as you know at the start of the month we all travelled up to Albury to visit mum and dad. We had a lovely time and behaved like little angels. Albeit furry angels with wet feet that left footprints on the floor and soggy noses that made the windows all smudgy.
We even got on well with Tia (as we always do), she was more than happy to sit there in the garden in the shade of the bottle brush while we harrased her with our barks and playful attitudes. She even let us lick her face and play with her toys, simply because she is an excellent cat (no bias there of course). The only thing she may not have fully appreciated was when Lils got into the laundry cupboard and was caught with her head burried inside her bag of cat food, needless to say Lils didn't get as much food for dinner that night.
Speaking of heads in bags of food we made a bit of a habit of it over the week. On Sunday morning we managed to get our big bag of smacko treats out of the green shopping bag (which was packed ready for our trip home), sucessfully eat our way through the plastic then remove the entire contents, and eat almost every last bit. Now Lils has a reputation as being a bit of a ringleader in these sorts of situations so this may surprise you but it was Burnsy who was caught red pawed with his head stuck in the bag and crumbs all over his face. We ended up with our bellies so fat that all we could do for the rest of the day was lie on the floor and move as little as possible, poor Lils was so full it took her three tries to jump up on the couch.
Apart from eating everything we also got haircuts. More like summer buzz cuts which would have been ok if the weather had stayed fine but there was a cold snap along with plenty of rain and we both sat in our bed shivering and shaking and looking so sad a miserable that we made Cole go out and buy us fleecy jumpers. We knew we looked silly wearing them but when you've had all your fur shaved off and it's cold you don't complain about the asthetics!
Anyway we had lots of fun like we always do and have lot of photos to post. Our coats are getting longer by the day so we no longer look quite so freaky. There are also pics of the garden which is looking great, there are a million and 1 passion fruits on the vine, and you'll be pleased to know that the lemon tree is growing more leaves (and is looking like it will live) it now has more than 2 it's got about 20!
Miss you all lots
woof woof from Lils and Burns

I really like you hair cuts puppies!!!!! Hopefully your fur is growing back quickly and you will look a little more normal in no time. I guess the one good thing about the whole summer hair cut is that you wont need another one for quite some time. Keep out of mischief and give my love to Cole
